1. Professor Hishashi Harata, University of Tokyo (in residence 18 February-8 March 2022) Professor Hisashi Harata is a Professor at Faculty of Law, The University of Tokyo. He teaches Private International Law. His current research focuses on international corporate law and labor law involving Japanese companies and their subsidiaries in Southeast Asia. He joined Harvard IGLP Scholars Workshop held in Bangkok as faculty member in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He was a visiting scholar at Università degli studi di Napoli, Cornell Law School and NUS. He often delivers lectures at Columbia Law School, Michigan Law School, etc. His recent publications include Song Mao Case: Problems of Designing a Legal Infrastructure to Global Value Chains in Globalized Economic Systems, in: Horatia Muir-Watt et als (eds.) 2. Professor Stefan Vogenauer, FBA, Max Planck Institute for European Legal History (in residence 17 July-15 August 2022) Professor Stefan Vogenauer is Director of the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt, Germany, and Fellow of the British Academy (FBA). He was previously Linklaters Professor of Comparative Law at the University of Oxford. He works mostly in the areas of European legal history, comparative law and transnational private law. He has a particular interest in legal transfers in the common law world, the history of EU law and the comparative history of legal method.
