- A well-established Thai academic specialising in private law, particularly in consumer protection law, family law and human rights, especially concerning vulnerable communities such as children, women, and the LGBTIQ group. Engaging in research initiatives dedicated to consumer protection and the safeguarding of vulnerable populations. Notable contributions include serving as a local consultant for the drafting of the voluntary peer review of consumer protection law and policy in Thailand (UNCTAD, 2022), providing expertise as a consultant in drafting Thailand’s national report on the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (Department of Children and Youth, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security), and fulfilling the role of National Consultant for the delivery of training to law enforcement officers on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE), LGBTI, and related issues, under the auspices of UNDP Thailand in 2021.
- Possessing a comprehensive grasp of European Union law and certain EU members’ laws, focusing on France, and an in-depth understanding of the legal frameworks and policies related to human rights and consumer protection within various ASEAN member countries. This expertise is backed by substantial experience gained through numerous research projects in comparative law, spanning European nations and ASEAN member states.
