About the Law Centre
The Legal Sociology, History and Philosophy Centre has the mission of organising meetings of the centre’s full-time faculty members to discuss and share ideas for ensuring lectures are ready and up to date. Regarding education, the centre has responsibility for important courses in the fields of jurisprudence, the history of Thai law, and principles of the legal profession, focusing on speakers from legal practice using real case studies as lessons. There are interesting elective courses in various branches, including in those subjects on law relating to social change and law and sustainable development. The centre organises academic seminars on topics which are important issues for society, alongside experts, seeking ways to develop society. In terms of research, the centre promotes and supports research on legal history with various agencies.
